                                                                  I.

   Weave ye garlands, meet for a Queen !
           Strew ye laurels beneath her feet !
    Gems of Phantasy !  deck the scene !
            Poesy !  shower thy blossoms sweet !
    Artists ! picture your bright ideal !
           Thinkers !  ponder no more alone !
    Bring of your best, and set your seal-
   The impress of all ye dream or feet-
          In homage to her, your Lady Liege-
    On the pages of The Throne.

    For her Throne is shrined in the Empire's heart,
           And the Empire claims its own-
   Continents sunder, oceans part,
   Yet the Throne is shrined in the Empire's heart,
          And we are one through the Throne.

                                                                    II.

    Yet not alone from British shores,
          Cull we flowers of heart and brain ;
    Italy opens her glowing stores,
         Queenly fingers shall deck the fane :
    Blossoms, the skies of Spain reveal,
          freely by princely bands are strown ;
    They bring of their best and set their seal-
    The impress of all they hope and feel-
           In friendship for her,  our Lady Liege,
    On the pages of The Throne.

    for her Throne is shrined in friendship's heart,
          And her friendship claims its own-
    Seas may sever and distance part,
    But friendship reigns in the loving heart,
           And hearts are one through the Throne.
