                                                       On the Terrace. (Side 1)
She watches from the terrace wall
The gallant youth come o'er the lea.
Why should he seek the stately Hall!
Mayhap it is the Squire to see.
And as he comes, with swinging pace,
A tender smile lights up her face.
Ah, goodly knight, she waits for thee.

And when he comes and takes his seat
Beside her 'neath the maple tree,
Her tender little heart will beat-
Though no demurer maid than she!
But Love is such a timid elf,
She can but whisper to herself-
"Dear heart, dear heart, I wait for thee!"

Lovesick little maiden
Wept herself quite ill,
For her love proved faithless
As some lovers will.

Worldwise  little maiden
Dried her eyes of blue,
Took another lover,
As some maidens do.

Condition is Very Good.
