The three snapshots heading this page represent a few of the many people gathered at Somerton, near Bicestor, for the Oxford University Point-to-Point meeting. Lady Warwick's family party included the hHon. Hamish St. Clair-Erskine (her Step - uncle)
and his sister, Lady Mary Dunn, who loves riding between the flags herself. Mr. George Mercer-Nairne is Lady Violet Astor's son by her first marriage,

Below ;  at the Cambridge University Chases at Cottenham a good time was had by all, though falls were fairly frequent on the first day. In fact, in the Hunters' Challenge Cup, won by Mr. J. M. Dennis's Bandona, all five runners or their riders came to grief at least once.  Lady Elisabeth Hare's brother, the Hon. John Hare, married the Hon.  Nancy Pearson in January.
