For Sale is a Full Page Drawing by Donald Maxwell removed from "The Graphic, February 5th, 1916," called "New Wine in Old Bottles : Tyre trouble in the Unchanging East."

"The Sketch," wrote are special artist in Syria, "needs some explanation.  It does not represent, as one would first imagine, the scene of a collision between a motor-car and a wall.  The stones strewn about in the foreground show the normal condition of a 'carriage road' near Homs, and we are merely engaged in mending punctures in a temperature of 120 deg. in the shade - not in the shade! The curious cones are houses.  Away over the river Orontes a dust storm can be seen advancing from the desert like a pillar of cloud."

Condition is Very Good.
