The Zeppelin that went Zig - Zag and ran ashore on the Rock-Bound Coast of Norway. 1916.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Graphic, May 13th, 1916," showing the Following Photographs for a "The Zeppelin that went Zig-Zag and ran ashore on the Rock-Bound coast of Norway."

   a- Two views of the Wrecked Zeppelin, and the Commander with Two of the Crew escorted Ashore by Norwegian Officers.
   b- "Here a Sheer Hulk" :  Sightseers inspecting the tangled mass of Wreckage of the Zepp that was.
   c- Returning from a raid on our shores last week, Zeppelin L20 was driven out of its course by stormy weather, collided with a cliff near Stavanger and broke in half.   One of the gondolas, shown in the bottom row of pictures, was torn off and fell to earth, the rest of the airship subsiding, a complete wreck, on the placid waters of the Hafrsfirth, where it attracted crowds of sightseers.  The crew are interned at Molde.  the Zeppelin was of the latest type, measuring 650 feet by 80 feet, with six motors of 800 horse-power.
