For Sale is a Full Page photograph removed from "The Graphic, June 10th, 1916," called "Artificial Sunshine in Summer-Time," showing "A Searchlight in the heart of a French Forest."

The searchlight has come to be one of the commonest objects of the war zone in the widest sense of the phrase, for its flashes are now as familiar to dwellers in Paris and London as they are to the men in the trenches.  The French display great ingenuity in choosing positions for their "projecteurs" at the front, a favourite place for them being in tree-tops, where they are safe from the prying eyes of the enemy's aeroplane observers.
