Where the Boche Interns British Civilians : A Bird's-Eye view of the Camp at Ruhleben. 1916.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Graphic, April 22nd, 1916," showing a Drawing by G. F. Morrell of "Where the Boche Interns British Civilians :  A Bird's-Eye View of the Camp at Ruhleben."

Ruhleben, a race-course unknown outside Germany a couple of years ago, is by way of becoming a household word, for at that camp were Interned-and still languish in most cases- all the men of our race who happened to be in Prussia at the outbreak of war, whether they were there on pleasure or business.  On arrival they were herded together in the stables seen in the lower portion of the picture, and had nothing but straw to sleep on.  Subsequently wooden huts were built, known as "New Town."  Behind the Grand Stands on the right were Interned the so-called "Pro-Germans," a numerous body of men-Teutons in everything save for some more or less remote strain of British blood.
