For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Graphic, March 18th, 1916," showing 5 Photographs from "The Strange Story of a Feminine Faust : "My Lady Frayle" at the Shaftesbury Theatre."

The Countess of Frayle (Miss Margot Joyce) fell in love with her youthful ward, Dick Bassett (Mr. J. V. Bryant, seen in the right-hand top corner), although he was engaged to pretty Virginia Desborough (Miss Annie Croft, seen in the opposite corner).  The Devil, in the shape of Lucifer D. Nation (Mr. Cecil Humphreys) suddenly appeared and offered to change her ladyship into a girl if she could bring him the boy's soul ; and she made a fair start, as is seen in the middle picture.  But the boy's heart eveded his grasp, for true love-which keeps the Devil at bay- won the battle, and Lady Frayle left the field to the pretty and young Virginia.
