The Culmstock Otter Hounds were established in 1837 by Mr. William P. Collier, who hunted them himself for no less than fifty-three years before retiring in 1890.  The present Master, Mr. H. Welch-THornton, has hunted the pack since 1906.  The favourite rivers of the pack are the Tone, Otter, Axe, and Exe, where otters are plentiful.

Condition is Very Good.
