If the Drury Lane Pantomime had been less amusing and less Gorgeous than it is it would still have earned a prominent place in theatrical history owing to the remarkable performance of Mr. George Ali as the Cat.  Such a piece of pantomime in its real sense has not been seen for many years.  Miss Leighton received a warm welcome on her re-appearance as Dick Whittington.
