Our Polo Club. 1900.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, July 7th, 1900,"showing the Following 6 Illustrations drawn by George Herbert Jalland called "Our Polo Club."

   a- Members turned up in force at our first practice game. The regulations as to height of pony and number of players was not strictly enforced.
   b- There was a cerrtain delay when the ball was first thrown down, as it hid itself in a rabbits' hole.
   c- But when once started the game was fast & furious.
   d- Players hit each other more often than the ball, and soon began to lost their tempers.
   e- The climax was reached when one of the contending captains hooked the other from his horse.
   f- After that the game simply resolved itself into a cavalry engagement.
