A "Grand Naval and Military." 1915.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, July 24th, 1915," showing the Following Drawings by Arthur Watts, for "A "Grand Naval and Military." (Horserace).

   a- Some of the Competitors.
   b- The Winning Post.
   c- Lookers on.
   d- Local Livery-Stable Proprietors were the Owners.
   e- "They're off !"
   f- The onlookers pursue s steed, which, having unseated his jockey, makes for home.

The above sketches were made at a race-meeting held on Ramsgate Sands recently, when the two services competed.  In flat disregard for tradition, the navy won hands down !  The races were run on the foreshore, the winning post ws a stick with a handherchief tied on, and the mounts (with the exception of two artillery ponies) were provided by local livery-stable proprietors, who took a sporting interet in the event.

Condition is Very Good.
