   a- He insisted on payment in advance. "It's a very h'uncertain World he said.
   b- Why our turnout should attract so much attention we could not imagine.
   c- But it was soon evident we had selected the worst driver in London.
   d- After driving us into a pond he explained through the hap "Hoss wantish a drink!"
   e- The police rescued us- our cab and driver were confiscated- and we returned to our suburb wet and weary. Truly it is a very uncertain world.
