For Sale are Two Full Pages removed from "The Sketch, 1895, showing the Following Drawings by Louis Wain.

                                                      Page 1.

                            May 29th, 1895. : "The Evolution of an Idea."
  a- Given your Dog,
  b- Your Cat,
  c- A rat, 
  d- And a bone.
  e- You bring them into action.
  f- And if you don't like cats you make the cat get the worst of it, in various ways.
  g- But if your intentions are unbiased you give the bone and rat a chance.
  h- And the dog two chances.
   i- By the time the dog has worried the rat out of existence, the cat may use its best endeavours to share the spoil.
   j- With the best results, 
   k- The cat and dog being both satisfied.
