Only two cars took part in this game-introduced from America-at Ranelagh last Saturday, and as the attention of the thousands of spectators was soon turned down from the very dull, if new, sport to the older game of horse polo, which was also in progress, it is unlikely that Uncle Sam has "made good" this time with his petrol sport.

     c- A collision when about to score.- A good-post carried away.
     d- Chasing the ball at forty miles an hour.
