   a- M. Thery, of France, who won the French Eliminating Trials and the Gordon-Bennett Cup of 1904 with the same car. His time last week in journeying four times over a course of 87 miles was 5 hours 50 mins, 3 sec.

   b- Mr. Edge, the English ex-Champion, whose curious mishaps put him out of the present race.
   c- Jarrott, of England, in full flight at the bottom of the steep hill, after the start from Saalburg.
   d- The Gordon-Bennett Cup, now owned by France.
   e- Herr Jenatzy, of Germany, who was first in 1903, but was beaten by M. Thery by 11 min. in 1904.
   f- Testing the Weighing Bridge before weighing Cars.

Condition is Very Good.
