   a- Mr. O. W. Rayner's Feather Bed, by Ravensburg-Bed of Roses, winner of Chester Cup, and his trainer East.
   b- The finish for the Chester Cup.- The favourite, Feather Bed, beats Torpoint.
   c- A sporting group at Chester.- T. Leader, the trainer,  Mr. J. Corlett, and Mr. Dobell, who won the Cup in 1896 with The Rush.
   d- Lord Lonsdale watching the saddling of his horse, A Skipper, which won the Prince of Wales's Welter Handicap Plate.
