For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Graphic, September 29th, 1900," showing a Drawing by C. E. Fripp for "A Visit of Congratulations :  General French being Cheered by the Imperial Light Horse." (Pretoria).

This was not a formal inspection but a visit made by the General in order to express his high opinion of this corps of irregular horse, a small body of which had recently attacked and seized a position held by a superior number of Boers.  The Imperial Light Horse lost on that occasion no fewer than seventeen out of the 35 men engaged, and being left for some reason unsupported had to retire from the position they had so gallantly won.

Condition is Very Good.
