The Prince of Wales's Diamond Jubilee, which started as favourite at 6 to 4, won the Derby, the Duke of Portland's Simon Dale being second, while Forfarshire, which was second favourite, finished unplaced.  The crowd was delighted at the result, and cheered the Prince again and again, and His Royal Highness repeatedly bowed his acknowledgments.

Condition is Very Good.
