The Review before the Queen in Phoenix Park : Bluejackets Doubling Past the Saluting Point. 1900.

For Sale is a Double Page removed from "The Graphic April 28th, 1900," showing a Drawing by W. Small from a Sketch by W. C. Mills, for "The Review before the Queen in Phoenix Park :  Bluejackets Doubling Past the Saluting Point."

One of the principal features of the Review held before the Queen in Phoenix Park, on Saturday, was the reception given to the Naval Brigade, under Commander R. O. Foote, C.M.G., whose command contained a battalion of Bluejackets, with a Maxim battery carried on poles, and the following field batteries :- Nos. 1, 2, and 3, each four 12-pounder quick-firing guns ;  No. 4, muzzle-loading guns ;  1st Battalion Bluejackets, 1st Maxim Battalion Bluejackets, and Battalion Royal Marines, and 2nd Maxim Battery Royal Marines.  It was a novel sight to the Dublin people, and the Bluejackets were enthusiastically cheered, the public seeming to associate them in their minds with the Naval Brigade who served at Ladysmith.

Condition is Very Good, with the usual fold down through the middle of the pages.
