   1- The Light Side of Nature. :  Bill's not in it when Jack's Ashore.

   2- One Man Protests.  To the Secretary of the Anti-Crinoline League.- Enclosed please find cheque for £100.  Make war on the crinoline with it. This is my whole quarter's salary.
        a- If the crinoline should be introduced, how shall i preserve my native dignity of aspect when escorting HER through the streets?
        b- It will be impossible for her to sit upon my knee, and my arm can no longer go around her waist.
        c- How shall I, as a dancing man, be able to gracefully dodge the abounding skirts of my partner?
        d- And how shall i look when taking my sisters to the stalls of a theatre?
