A Picture that is Full pf Pathos : The Tombs of the Czars in the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul. 1905.

For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Sphere, January 28th, 1905," showing a Drawing by Arthur Garratt, called "A Picture that is Full of Pathos," showing "The Tombs of the Czars in the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul."

On the occasion of his recent visit to St. Petersburg Mr. Arthur Garratt made a sketch of the tombs of the Czars in the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul in the fortress of that name.  The tombs are made of blocks of white marble all of the same design, and they are extremely impressive. It is a common sight to see Russians kissing the tombs, and Mr. Garratt has sketched a man in the act.  The picture gains tremendous significance in view of Sunday's massacre.
