These pictures are extremely interesting in view of the coroner's inquest last week on the fatal accident which occurred to the Jockey at the Coliseum.  Mr. Marshall Moore, the chief of the general staff, informed the magistrate that in all scenes of this kind on the stage there was an element of danger.  Besides the risks attaching to revolving stages it is remarkable how many people risk life and limb in all our places of amusement in order to entertain us.  The pictures on this page are cases in point.
