For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Sphere, January 7th, 1905," showing a Drawing by O. Gerlach for "The Rising in German South-West Africa - The Battle at Waterberg."

Lieut.-General von Trotha began a simultaneous advance on August 11 and 12 upon the strongly-entrenched position of the Heroes at Waterberg, which resulted in the capture of the place and in the dispersal of the enemy with heavy loss.  The German troops, who numbered between 4,000 and 5,000, lost five officers and nineteen men killed and five officers and fifty-two wounded, while two men were missing.  Several thousand head of cattle fell into the hands of the Germans.
