1- E. Ray bunkered at the short 6th in the Semi-final against Gaudin.
2- R. Robinson, Southport, playing to the Pin on the 6th, showing the Ball's flight out of the bunker.
3- A missed Putt by James Braid on the 16th results in a Half with his opponent, Tom Williamson, who lost at the 20th Hole.
4- E. Ray Putting on the 17th Green.

After Ray and Wingate had lost the Semi-finals of this "News of the World" tournament to Gaudin and Seymour, the latter won the 36-hole final at the 40th hole.
