For Sale is a Full Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, December 10th, 1921," showing the Following 2 Half Page Photographs from "Will Shakespeare." The Play by Clemence Dane at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

1- Young Shakespeare (Mr. Philip Merivale) deserting his wife Anne (Miss Moyna Macgill) when tempted by Henslowe (Mr. Arthur Whitby) to go to London to seek his Fortune. Anne's mother (Miss Mary Rorke) watches the scene, of which Anne is the tragic figure because she is supposed (though there is no ground for the assumption) to treasure her unswerving love for her husband throughout her desolate life.
2- After the death of the dramatist Marlowe (Mr. Claude Rains), who has been accidentally killed during an attack he makes on Shakespeare. The latter is having a stormy interview with Mary Fitton (Miss Mary Clare), who is here presumed to be the "Dark Lady of the Sonnets," and who has been loved by both Marlowe and Shakespeare.
