   1 & 2- "The Young Generation," by Stanley Houghton.
1- Arthur refuses to go to chapel. His mother is grieved, his father shocked, and his grandmother outraged.  His brother and sister admire his courage, but tremble at his daring.  Uncle Tom chuckles but his voice lacks weight, as he has lived for years on the wicked Continent.  
2- The three rebels on "the morning after." Arthur was drunk for the first time overnight, and now looks on breakfast with unloving eye.  Reggie had had an hotel dinner instead of a "meat tea" at Liverpool.  Grace has been found out to be in love without parental sanction.
   3- "An Adventure of Aristide Pujol," by W. J. Locke.
Aristide (Mr. Leon M. Lion) outwits Mr. Smith (Mr. Fewlass Llewellyn), who is trying to sell his future son-in-law a bogus painting.  He threatens to reveal the swindle to the purchaser.
   4- "The Golden Doom," by Lord Dunsany.
The King (Mr. Henry Hargreaves) lays down his crown and sceptre in order to appease the angry gods and save his kingdom from their wrath.  The crown is then mistaken for a hoop and is bowled off by a child.

Condition is Very Good.
