   a- The Swiss debut of Jeanie McTavish, the "Tuck-woman" of the young ladies' finishing school (Miss Gracie Leigh). Although she rises only to fall again, she is proudly refusing assistance from her former fiance, the school butler (Mr. James Blakeley), who has deserted her in quest of wealth.
   b- The wrath of Mdlle. Touchet on learning that one of her pupils has caricatured her and punned upon her name upon the blackboard.
   c- Nancy Joyce, the dancing mistress (Miss Gertie Millar), receives a lottery ticket from the French mistress, Mdlle. Touchet (Mdlle M. Caumont), with the interesting news that nothing is now needed for happiness and independence but to wait until its number is drawn.
   d- The French mistress, Mdlle. Virginie Touchet (Mdlle. M. Caumont), arrives in Switzerland well protected from the frost.
   e- Mr. Joseph Coyne as Teddy Cavanagh, an aeroplanist, making a quick change from flying costume to indoor dress when asked to tea with the young ladies at the Down House finishing school near Brighton.
   f- Miss Maud Cressall as Lady Margrave.
