   a- Miss Laura Cowie as May Kating, at the Golf Clubhouse. May is in love with John Ganton's son, Will Ganton, to John's great wrath, since he and her father were business foes.
   b- The better side of the hustler.-John Ganton (Mr. George Fawcett) gives his overworked typist a holiday and a cheque.
   c- Outside the Chicago Golf Club.- John Ganton, the pork millionaire, declines to be "touched" by the local vicar (Mr. Herbert Vyvyan) for charity, although he afterwards gives the money in his daughter's name.  Ganton's right-hand man surveys the scene.  Both these business men are out of their element among the gay, sportive idlers at the golf club.
   d- The proposal after a round on the links.- May Kating (Miss Laura Cowie) and Will Ganton (Mr. Eric Maturin).  Will is threatened with poverty if he marries May, but a fourth-act repentance by his stern parent avoids this disaster.
   e- Alan Borlan (Mr. Earle Browne), a would-be reformer of business methods, "goes for" John Ganton, who, though a splendid individualist, stands for the corrupt old school of "Craft and Graft." The old gentleman's retort is to make Alan his son-in-law.
