The Hertfordshire Hounds on this occasion were under the charge of Col. Fenwick, as the present Master, the Earl of Cavan, was absent on manoeuvres.  They hunted Crwaley's Gorse, where there was a great show of foxes, and spared all those which broke away.  Like the good sportsman that he is, Mr. Crawley, who has sheltered three litters of cubs despite their onslaught on his partridges, was himself out with the field, a keen and interested spectator.

Condition is Very Good.
