For Sale is a Half  Page removed from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, September 14th, 1912," showing a Photograph from "A Scrape O' the Pen," by Graham Moffat, at the Comedy Theatre.  

This picture shows the return of Alec, the bad boy of the family, to claim the bride with whom he had contracted a "Scotch" marriage on the day he left his native land seven years before.  The bride has meantime torn up the evidence of the ceremony, and married the unsuspecting Hugh Menzies, with whom she is now left in peace.
