The Royal Visit to Melbourne - 1901

For sale is a two page supplement and a single page concerning "The Royal Visit to Melbourne."

The Single page shows "The Duke of Cornwall in Melbourne, The Levee at Government House".  There were 3,000 presentations and the Duke shook hands with all the gentlemen.

The supplement is illustrated by Mr Alfred Pearse and shows the following:

1.  The Duke presenting medals to the Victorian Contingent.

2.  Double page showing The Duke of Cornwall reading his Father's message to the Federal Parliament.

3.  4 photos of different events of the Duke of Cornwall visit to Melbourne.

These were removed from a disbound volume of The Sphere, June 22 and June 15, 1901 and are in very good condition.
