The Wedding of King Edward. 1902.

For Sale is a Two Page Article with a Full Page Colour Lithograph for "The Wedding of King Edward." taken from "The Sphere, Coronation Number, for "King Edward VII., and Queen Alexandra, 1902." 

The Lithograph shows The Wedding of the King and Queen in St. George's Chapel. Windsor, March 10th, 1863, after the painting by W. P. Frith, R.A.  The bride's father, the King of Denmark, did not ascend the throne until the following November. Queen Victoria is watching the ceremony from above.  The boys in Kilts on the left are Prince Arthur and Prince Leopold.  The whole design is surmounted by the Prince of Wales's arms (on the left) and the Arms of Denmark (on the right).  The Stars at the foot represent (from left to right) the Garter, the Thistle, St. Patrick, and the Bath ; while a view of Windsor Castle is seen at the base of the whole.

Condition is Very Good.
