"At Tursak, at Daggar, and, in fact, at every village the force passed through, the Jirgahs have come in bringing with them the money and Arms demmanded of them by the Government. These are always brought to Sir Bindon Blood, the General commanding the expedition, and to Mr. Bunbury, the political officer.  The latter, with his native assistants, check the number of rifles surrendered by the villagers".
