For Sale is a Full Page from "The Graphic, April 30th, 1898," showing a Drawing by Hatherell from a Sketch by Reginald Cleaver for "The Queen on the Riviera : Her Majesty Attending the Children's Battle of Flowers at Nice."

The Queen's visit to Nice to witness the children's Battle of flowers in the Jardine Publiques was much appreciated, and gave additional zest to the pretty event.  In the tribune on the left of our illustration were some of the little personages now staying at Nice, who enjoyed pelting the procession with flowers as it passed, the children in the procession replying with eagerness.  The little Princes and Princesses also threw several bunches at the Queen, whose carriage was drawn up between two tribunes.
