   b- Mr. W. Bass's Cyllene, by Bona Vista-Arcadia, Sold to the Argentine for £25.000.
Cyllene, who leaves England for the Argentine at the close of the present season to take the place of the recently deceased Pietermaritzburg, was bred by Mr. C. D. Rose, and was foaled in 1895.  Since he has been at the Stud his progeny have won over £50.000 in stakes, and in 1905 Mr. Rose sold Cyllene to Mr. Bass for 30.000 guineas.
