For Sale is a Full Page taken from "The Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News, March 3rd, 1928," called "Seen from a Porthole : The Glory of the Tall Ship," showing a Photograph "Akin to the Racing Grain Ships : The Four- Masted Barque, Carradale."

The passing from the seas of the tall ship, in all its splendour, is the price we have had to pay for the miracles of engineering wrought on modern times. Too rarely in these days is such a sight provided as the above for the eye to feast upon. The Carradale, a steel four-masted barque, sailed out of Glasgow for many years, though she passed latterly into Finnish ownership. According to Lloyd's register, her last voyage, ten years after her sale to Finland, was in tow a Dutch tug from London to Harburg, the Hanoverian seaport, where she was finally broken up. Two vessels of a similar rig, still working in the Australian grain trade, recently left Port Lincoln on a race to England. One of these boats, the Beatrice, has made the journey from Melbourne to Dover in eighty-four days.
