The Scottish Reliability Trials : Some of the Competitors. 1907.

For Sale is a Full Page taken from "The Bystander, July 3rd, 1907," showing the Following Six Photographs for "The Scottish Reliability Trials : Some of the Competitors."

       1- Two Gladiator Competitors. F. C. Baisley is at the wheel of the right-hand Car.
       2- The White Steam Car Starting a Hill Climb. Mr. Coleman on a 30 h.-p. White Car at Cairnomount Hill.
       3- Cars on the Rest and Be Thankful Hill. 
            a- The 15 h.-p. Coventry Humber.
            b- The 14-16 h.-p. Argyll, which made a non-stop run.
       4- Mr. Frederick Eastmead on his 16-29 h.-p. Sunbeam leaving Perth.
       5- The 40-50 h.-p. Rolls-Royce Car.

The Reliability Trials organised by the Scottish Automobile Club, and carried on over 750 miles of rough and hilly roads, have been most successful, and without any serious accident.  Of the eighty-two cars that finished, ten cars ran through without a stop, but most others accomplished performances almost as creditable, in many cases only being disqualified for some slight technical reason.
