For Sale is the Front Page taken from "The Graphic, October 8th, 1898," showing a Drawing by W. T. Maud, called "The First Sight of Khartoum."

Major Staveley Gordon, R.E., the nephew of General Gordon, was the first man to see Khartoum.  From the top of Gebel Royan, a mountain of rock in the middle of the Nile, he gained a distant view of the ruined city.

Condition is Very Good.
