Forty-four Regiments in the Indian Army were represented in the Procession. The Indian contingent which came for the Coronation numbered 1,000 men. The escort. of course, represented a tiny proportion of this number. The whole contingent was reviewed at Buckingham Palace by the King on Wednesday.
