For Sale is a Full Page taken from "The Sphere, August 16th, 1902," showing a Drawing by Percy F. S. Spence, called "The Lion of the Hour," showing "Lord Kitchener at the Guildhall."

Lord Roberts and Lord Kitchener were presented by the City of London Corporation at the Guildhall on August 6 with illuminated addresses and plate. Lord Kitchener, who made a capital little speech, spoke of the army in South Africa as an imperial army drawn from all quarters of the globe and as a fighting machine hard to beat. In this picture Mr. Spence has caught the idea of the lionising to which Lord Kitchener is subjected wherever he goes.
