For Sale is a Full Page Print taken from "The Sphere, November 15th, 1902," Showing a Drawing  (From Material Supplied) by Wal Paget, called "An African Hand-Loom Weaver - As Seen by the Anglo-German Boundary Commissioners."

The Anglo-German commissioners who have been delimiting the boundary between the hinterland of Ashanti (which is british) and Togoland (to the east, which is German) encountered some strange scenes. The native industries of the country are exceedingly interesting. This picture shows a native at his loom. The threads, fastened to a big stone, pass through two meshes, between which the weaver passes his shuttle from hand to hand, forming the cross-thread.
