For Sale is a Full Page taken from "The Sphere," June 15th, 1907, showing a Drawing by Clement Flower of "The Gala at the Opera in Honour of their Danish Majesties."

The Gala Performance at Covent Garden on Tuesday in honour of the King and Queen of Denmark was a great success. The Performance consisted of the first acts of "Madama Butterfly" and "La Boheme," by Signor Puccini (who sat in the front row of stalls), and the third act of "Die Meistersinger." The house was beautifully decorated throughout, a large "E" beneath a crown surmounting the stage arch ; facing it was the royal box, which had the letters "E" "F" intertwined above the flags of Great Britain and Denmark. The King of Denmark sat between the two Queens, his consort on his right and his sister, Queen Alexandra, on his left.
