The Right Hon. J.W. Lowther, Speaker of the House of Commons, has increased his reputation greatly during the session. He is the great-grandson of the first and a cousin of the present Earl of Lonsdale. He is Conservative member for the Penrith division of Cumberland and is a favourite with all parties.
