This picture is reproduced by permission from the original in the Leeds City Art Gallery and a copyright photograph of the same by Eyre and Spottiswoode. The painter, Mr. W.H. Bartlett, studied art under Gerome, Bouguereau, and Fleury, and was born in 1858. He is represented in the city galleries of Bradford, Leeds, Worcester, and Brighton, and also in New Zealand.

Condition is Very Good.
