For Sale is a Front Page taken from "The Sphere," April 20th, 1907, showing a Drawing by Ernest Prater called "The Colonial Prime Ministers in the City- General Botha Introduced to an Alderman."

One of the most impressive ceremonies in which the colonial Prime Ministers will be called upon to take part was their admission as freemen of the City of London on Tuesday at the Guildhall. As the Chamberlain said in his address, "The records of the City might be searched in vain for any parallel to the ceremony." The people in the streets made General Botha the hero of the day, and The Times says that in the Guildhall it was "For General Botha that the crowd cheered loudest." This picture shows the Lord Mayor, Sir William Treloar, introducing General Botha to one of the aldermen. Behind him is Dr. Jameson and to the right is Lord Roberts - a remarkable trio to meet under the City's hospitable roof.
