For Sale is a Full Page from "The Sphere," January 19th, 1901, showing a Drawing by Herbert Railton called "A Fragment of London," showing  "St. Giles Church, Cripplegate."

The old church of St. Giles's, Cripplegate, stands on the site of one that was burned down in 1545. Milton was buried and Cromwell was married in the present structure, which escaped the Great Fire. The tower of the church is the subject of an eloquent passage in Mr. Thomas Hardy's novel, "The Hand of Ethelberta."
