"Twelfth Night" at Her Majesty's Theatre : Mr. Tree as Malvolio.1901

For Sale is a Full Page showing a drawing by Bernard Partridge called "Twelfth Night" at Her Majesty's Theatre," showing "Mr. Tree as Malvolio." 

This drawing shows Malvolio in Olivia's garden, one of the most beautiful bits of stage scenery ever devised. Mr. Tree is here shown reading the love letter supposed to have been sent by Olivia, but really left for her by Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Maria. He reads : "If this fall into thy hand, revolve. In my stars i am above thee ; but be not afraid of greatness : some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em"
