For Sale is a Full Page from "The Sphere March 18th 1905," showing an Illustration drawn by Ernest Prater of "A Skirmish Between Outposts on the Sha-Ho : A Wounded Russian."

Before the great advance that placed Mukden in the possession of the Japanese there had been innumerable small encounters between the outposts of the opposing armies, who had watched each other like cats. for so many months.  The great-coated opponents had been constantly sniping at one another, and this picture represents one of these incidents.  It would be interesting to know how many lives have been lost in this petty way.
